This summer we are taking a group of builders for a month to Silicon Valley to kickstart their journey on becoming startup entrepreneurs. We call it the Summer Founders Program (SFP).
There’s no catch. Will start the program by visiting San Francisco for a month, and then continue building in Tampere for the next 8 weeks. No hallow ecosystem talks, no startup talk without the startup walk. Just a group of techies & doers having a vision and executing it.
Our academic system is broken. It educates people about meaningless jobs with average salaries, prioritizing theory over practice and talk over action.
We're done with that.
We're for the doers, the builders, the ones who see what can be done and set out to make it happen. We value intellectual curiosity and default to action. We live by less wise thinking and more stupid doing. We don't walk the beaten path; we forge new ones.
Enough talking. Let's build.
What We Offer:

FAQ:
Q: Can I take classes or work on other jobs while at SFP?
A: No. You're either 100% in or 100% out. Nothing in between.
Q: Do I need an idea to apply?
A: Yes, but no. You’ll figure your idea probably while in SF. Agency is much more important. We’ll also help you validate your idea before SFP.
Q: Do I need a team or can I be a solo-founder?
A: You don't need a team, but we 100% recommend getting a co-founder. It’s also possible to match with other founders during the program.
Q: How does the selection process work?
A: We'll close applications at the end of February and then start the interviews.
